PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As a Convention-Banquet Assistant Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining quality and proper presentation of food. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE JOB:

  • Maintain quality and proper presentation of food
  • Drive the customer relation management system by ensuring that all such orders are handled correctly
  • Communicate with chefs, management, employees and guest efficiently with proper reporting, and meetings
  • Schedule and maintain the budgeted labor costs as well as potential food cost
  • Understand and utilize Stratton Warren system properly for purchasing, release orders and cost transfers

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience in a high volume setting.

PREFERRED:

  • Associate's Degree in F&B and/or course certification from an accredited Culinary Institute.
  • 5+ years of prior relevant experience in a high volume, with strong food knowledge, hotel/casino environment
  • Experience working in a similar resort setting
